SpaceStationAR is an augmented reality (AR) application that provides a realistic simulation of satellite visibility in the night sky. Through this app, users can easily track and observe prominent satellites such as the International Space Station, the Starlink Trains, and other groundbreaking satellites in the field of space exploration.

Using your iPhone or iPad camera, SpaceStationAR superimposes the paths of the International Space Station, Starlink Train, and Chinese Space Station onto your actual surroundings. Additionally, the app allows you to locate bright stars, galaxies, iconic spacecraft like Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, and even visualize the trajectory of major cities beyond Earth's surface. Furthermore, SpaceStationAR serves as a valuable tool for antenna installation by indicating the positions of geostationary satellites.

In addition to AR views, users can easily access satellite orbits through interactive maps. The "Calendar" tab within the app provides a comprehensive list of upcoming satellite passes and rocket launches for the next two weeks. Users can select a specific event from the list and simulate it using the AR technology.

SpaceStationAR also extends its functionality to Apple Watch and offers a "Today" widget that presents simple lists of upcoming satellite passes.

Note that the Lite version of the app has certain limitations. AR predictions will cease 30 minutes prior to a satellite pass. For an ad-free experience with additional features such as sky chat view, users can upgrade to the full version available on the App Store.
